Our Mission

To provide specialized and comprehensive care for infants, children and adolescents, as well as special healthcare need patients of all ages. We provide care in a friendly, safe and state-of-the-art environment with a focus on prevention and education for family. Our goal is a hope to lead the way toward the best oral care for children in Maine in conjunction with other dental practices.

Appointments

We try our best to accommodate our patients as much as possible when scheduling appointments. We have found that children with extensive dental work or preschool children are better when they are seen early in the morning at a time when they are fresher and can have a more positive experience. Some appointments may require the child to miss some school. These are considered excused absences. We are happy to provide any child with acknowledged proof that they came to a dentist appointment to take back to their school. However, with continued care, appointments during school can be kept to a minimum.

Cancellation Policy

Typically we request 48 hours notice if you need to cancel and reschedule your appointment. By giving us notice within this time frame, it allows us to offer that time slot to another patient whose need may be urgent and willing to come in sooner-if-possible. We are aware that unforeseen events sometimes require missing an appointment, but we ask for your help as a courtesy to all of our patients.

Confirmation Policy

To ensure we can meet the needs of all of our clients it is parents responsibility to confirm all appointments no later than 48 hours before the appointment. Any appointment not confirmed within the 48 hour window may be removed and offered to another family. To best serve our patients we are utilizing the latest software text and email confirmation applications.
