NOVEMBER IS HERE

turkey2018

This time of year is meant for spending time with your family and friends – making memories that will last a lifetime. November is more than Thanksgiving turkey and the Macy’s Day Parade – It is all about thankfulness. What are you grateful for? Follow our Facebook page to see what our staff has to say about what they are thankful for! We will be closed November 22nd and 23rd in Observation of Thanksgiving.

Veteran’s Day is Monday November 12th. On this special day, we celebrate our Veterans – past and present. Thank you for protecting our country! Love to our military members – and their families. We would like to specifically acknowledge a very special military member, Mrs. Crystal’s husband – Joey! Thank you for your service!

Also in November – Thanksgiving, of course! Thanksgiving is a time to – yes, give thanks. Many families celebrate differently. What is a tradition that your family does? Dr. To’olo’s family celebrates by visiting family out of state. During Thanksgiving, it is easy to make not- so-great food options. While Thanksgiving is also known for yummy pie – it is important to make sure you have the green beans on your plate! Below is the latest version of the Food Pyramid (it’s called MyPlate now!)

Mrs. Chelsie’s family has a tradition of going for a walk, as a family, after Thanksgiving dinner! This is a fun way to get some exercise, fresh air and spend time with your family!
